Auckland Foundation Funding Round

The Auck­land Foun­da­tion have three con­testable fund­ing rounds which open for appli­ca­tions from  Thurs­day 1 August. All three are open to char­i­ties, incor­po­rat­ed soci­eties, com­mu­ni­ty groups, social enter­pris­es and organ­i­sa­tions that can demon­strate char­i­ta­ble pur­pose (please note we can­not grant to indi­vid­u­als):

  1. Grass­roots Giv­ing Pro­gramme — grants of up to $15,000 for projects that sup­port fam­i­lies and whanau, par­tic­u­lar­ly those fac­ing mul­ti­ple dis­ad­van­tages;
  2. North Shore Fund — grants of up to $10,000 for projects in Taka­puna-Devon­port, Kaipāti­ki, Upper Har­bour, and/or Hibis­cus and Bays that strength­en com­mu­ni­ties, pro­mote health and well­be­ing or address social dis­ad­van­tage;
  3. The Clin­ton and Joy Whit­ley Fund — grants avail­able to sup­port chil­dren aged 12 and under with can­cer, and their fam­i­lies — includ­ing research, sem­i­nars, and child can­cer camps.
