The Auckland Foundation have three contestable funding rounds which open for applications from Thursday 1 August. All three are open to charities, incorporated societies, community groups, social enterprises and organisations that can demonstrate charitable purpose (please note we cannot grant to individuals):
- Grassroots Giving Programme — grants of up to $15,000 for projects that support families and whanau, particularly those facing multiple disadvantages;
- North Shore Fund — grants of up to $10,000 for projects in Takapuna-Devonport, Kaipātiki, Upper Harbour, and/or Hibiscus and Bays that strengthen communities, promote health and wellbeing or address social disadvantage;
- The Clinton and Joy Whitley Fund — grants available to support children aged 12 and under with cancer, and their families — including research, seminars, and child cancer camps.
